It is important that at some point all club athletes become involved in club fixtures. This helps form the clubs identity and gives purpose to your training. There are many levels of competition and all can find a level and event that will suit them.
Taking part in competition brings you on tremendously and allows you to see your improvements, and the effectiveness of your training. This can transform your standards considerably and makes all your hard work worthwhile!
It can be very rewarding to take part in team competitions where you will be supporting, and supported by your team mates, as well as building a great club atmosphere. Irrespective of how good you are, or where you finish, the main issue is your own personal improvement and the strengthening of friendships that club competitions bring.
So come on get involved!
Please contact Wayne or Sandy at least one week before each fixture if you wish to participate
