in all fairness your absolutely right but many of my comments were aimed at the young athletes and even though my 10km best is only 33mins I know that this is rubbish. 30 years ago athletes worked full-time and ran world-class times. Athletes of today are like the old british rail i.e. good at making excuses. Where would we be if nobody had an opinion about anything. I dont stand on the moral high ground, I just say it the way it is. I think in many ways the whole athletic and education establishment (reguarding sport) needs challenging in this country. If you never challenge anything, nothing ever changes does it?
