ACTUALLY happened (the feel good factor is of course fundamental to the start and continuance of this process as it creates belief,identity and dare i say vision)I think there are however problems with ones concept of reality when too much hype occurs without substance. At present i think there is some substance behind the hype as i have seen some of the work going on in the background.I said somewhere in the last few weeks that we must keep our nerve.By that i meant that we must retain our passions despite any problems or criticism.We must be extreme in our SELF- CRITICISM of may be (primarily) ego based activity and what is a real GROWING belief.I have seen sufficient empathy in SOME people for this self criticism to take place.Empathy can move mountains.
There are some potential leaders in this club between the ages of 18 and 28 who really have an important role to play, more important than even they will know until we achieve success OR failure.
We still have a long way to go in terms of co-ordinating this energy and expertise but IT IS HAPPENING.This is our best chance ,indeed our ONLY ever chance to move this club forward to the top.
I believe those who get us there WILL go down in the history of local athletics.
Enough of the rhetoric,lets continue to look at the detail.Anymore views?
