Sounds like a good run at the weekend then mate! My rehab work is going smoothly - running every other day at the mo but i've still got a long way to go in terms of being completely injury free and back upto a moderate level of training. As for me i was a useful junior runner (nat. standard over a range of distances) but did my calf/achilles wen i was 17/18 and we have only got to the exact cause of the problem in the last year. Im now 21 but still in pretty good shape through cross training and limited running! Although i've got pretty good natural talent i think its my motivation and dedication levels that people are worried about. Im a great believer that a lot of hard work with a bit of good luck and science can turn you into a world class athlete. I want to test this theory out on myself by living/training the life of a "full-time" athlete. By the time im 35 i want to be 100% certain that i did everything i could to achieve my potential!

As for Mr Ard, he has the potential to be very very good buts he's not got it in the head at the moment. He's not a lost cause as it was only last year that he was bagging out 60 miles per week and i hope very much that he will relise that hes f**king about at the mo and get back upto and surpass the level of training that he was doing not to long ago!

Cheers
