Firstly thankyou Turko for your comments regarding diet. What degree are you doing by the way? Changing the subject, I've read through the ideas written by Wayne, Ryan and Turko, so I am interested to know whether running on sand decreases the strain on your muscles (ie- Calf), even though you may be pushing yourself harder than normal training on the road, say. Is it the amount of lactic build up, or your bodies efficiency to deal with lactic that determines whether your calf muscle would give way or not?
