I beg to differ, the best ever performance was the 75 second 110 m hurdles by craig norton or the 3hr 34 mins marathon by duran doran who changed from a senior to a vet half way through the race.Second thoughts it was any race pete berry took part in noticeably the brussels cross cup where he would have finished less than 2 mins behind the second to last place if it wasnt for an old javelin injury!MCDOWELLS AROUND LEICESTER WALK WAS ALSO SOMETHING SPECIAL-TWICE.AS WAS DOYLES CYCLE RIDE TO THE CAT AND FIDDLE PUB IN THE PEAKS. THERE WAS A DEAD FOX ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THAT EVENTUALLY OUT KICKED HIM.
