In my time at the club as a competitive runner (1995-2000) I'd say the top 6 owls athletes (excluding myself) were:
Mapp Ard Falkner Boyce O'neil Siddon/Green
Sorry to restrict it to athletes I knew from that particular time period but I don't know enough about athletes from other time periods to give them a mention!
