I setup this "discussion web" facility with the hope that it would stimulate meaningful debate between "Athletes" and "Coaches" both within and external to the "OWLS" this it has done.
Unfortunately it has also attracted some personal attacks and comments directed at individuals who have contributed.I would ask you all to refrain from this type of debate as it achieves nothing, except open old wounds, it also discourages freedom of speech of which this Nation has fought wars to maintain.
I think Paul,Tom,Wayne,Turlo etc all have a right to air their views on "Athletics" in the broadest sense, but lets not get personal otherwise I'll have no choice but to remove this discussion web facility and that would be a great pity.
