At last we finally return to the teachings of Lydiard and Cerutty. But does it take a sport science degree to come to the same conclusion as a milkman and crazy post office worker. ONLY JOKING!

We regards to weights I feel we should refer to the methods of world class lifters who use low reps and high weights. WHY? Because they require strength not bulk. Take a look at a major weightlifting championship lower weight divisions both men and women and marvel at the weights being lifted by comparatively slightly built individuals. Again the great Cerutty advised low reps. His mentor was the great German strongman Hackenschmitt, who works on philosophy are still in print I believe., who I feel may have advised Cerutty.

It nice to see that some of the OWLS members are thinking about what they are trying to achieve and responding to the intellectual stimulus of WW.. Good work Mr Turlington
