I have used the term 'elite' for the simple fact that you cannot class yourselves as the elite part of the club if you do not train like elite runners. Elite runners train ALL year round honing both speed and endurance, ALL year round. Elite runners work on their strength ALL year round, using both hills and weights ALL year round. My main point is that Elite runners train in the true meaning of the word:as professionals and the best. Elite runners win national titles, so can you.
