RULES FOR OWLS CLUB STANDARDS AWARDS  

1.      To qualify for an award you must achieve the same standard at three different distances in one calendar year.

2.       You can only qualify for the award at one standard level in any one year.

3.    Any properly measured and certified road race can count. You are not limited to club supported races and you may achieve the standard in any other race that meets the necessary requirements. We have suggested some races for guidance and details of these are available at the Legion on Tuesday training nights or from the scheme organisers listed below.

4.    The time achieved must equal or better the standard time.

5.      Your time must be taken from the official race results. Details of race times reaching the required standard level should be reported to Bob Pople at [email protected] or in person on Club night.

6.      Once you have achieved a particular standard level within an age group you can only improve on it by achieving the next level in a future year.

7.      When you change age category you may apply for any standard within your new age group.
